Will TikTok be banned in the United States?

I thought of giving you this quick update so YOU can stay up-to-date on this!
📵 Currently, TikTok bans in the US only apply to government-issued devices and are limited in scope.
📵 To truly ban the app for the rest of the country, TikTok would need to be classified as a national security threat.
📵 The government has classified other Chinese companies, such as Huawei, as a national security threat. But, banning an app like TikTok, which is distributed over the global internet, is more difficult than banning hardware sales and use.
📵 There is no guarantee that a ban on TikTok would survive a court challenge.
📵 Even if the federal government banned TikTok, there would still be ways to access the platform, although it would be more difficult.
📵 TikTok has over 100 million users in the US, many of whom are old enough to vote and could protest a ban. Businesses are increasingly relying on TikTok for digital ad campaigns and may not be happy to see it banned.
TikTok has spent a lot of money on privacy and safety measures, but will it be enough to keep operating in the US? What do you think?
